This research titled: LE DESTIN DANS AL-ISTIFAKH OU L'IDYLLE DE MES AMIS ET DANS KAM-NDJAHA LA DÉVOREUSE, takes a look at the idea or theme of destiny in the African New Novels of 21st century. The existence of Man and his challenges brought about this study on destiny. The work, based on sociological approach, focuses on the reaction of MarieChristine Koundja concerning destiny. It shows the need to submit to destiny by conscious choices. It also portrays that those who try to reject their destiny make life very difficult and complicated for themselves. The work discovers that Koundja sees destiny as a matter of choice. She believes that Man becomes a victim of destiny by the conscious or unconscious choice he makes. For Koundja, with serious efforts and determination Man can change his destiny for better. She concludes that Man ought to make a choice in order to submit to his own destiny determined by God as he is a being with free will.
